Subsea Vision contracted by Global Marine
to assist with a Wind Farm trial in Denmark. To assist in the operation we used our Falcon Plus ROV system with our new Gemini Sonar.



November

GEMS UK hire our services off the North Coast of Devon -
Our role is to supply a Falcon ROV complete with 5 function manipulator to retrieve subsea monitor device 

Subsea Vision contracted to complete a concrete and steel pile visual inspection in Canary Wharf London -
We utilised one of our Falcon ROVs to complete a concrete survey of the underside of one of the main building within Canary Wharf. This was a repeat survey, the first time Subsea Vision surveyed the building was in 2005.

October

Subsea Vision contracted by Global Marine UK to assist in a Wind Farm installation trial off Denmark - Due to the location and the tidal currents we have supplied our Falcon Plus ROV system complete with our Gemini Sonar and 12' ROV control container . The Gemini sonar will assist in the operations due to the close to zero visibility in the water column


September

Shell UK contract Subsea Vision to complete further surveys on the Anasuria FPSO vessel - We carried out GVI, DVI and CP surveys on Risers, riser clamps and clump weights, Riser connection points to the turret, Mid water arches and associated assemblies, mooring lines, Tri plates and riser bases beneath the FPSO. Seven sea chests on the vessel were also cleaned using our HP water jetting system. The surveys were completed from the FPSO with our Tiger Free swimming system, this is a very cost efficient way of completing these type of surveys


August

Subsea Vision sign three contract with Shell UK - The contract in place is to supply and operate platform based ROV systems on a planned and adhoc basis

Subsea Vision contracted by Rio Tinto in Fort William to remove debris from one of the scour pits in the Hydro Power System. The access point to the work site / ROV deployment site is half way up a mountain. The ROV system and supporting equipment was mobilised to site via 4x4 vehicles and trailers.
We also carried out further survey works within the trifurcation area and pipelines leading off the trifurcation whilst on site. The purpose of the surveys was to inspect the condition of the as built concrete lined tunnel and steel pipe work.
This is the first time this type of survey and operation has been completed satisfactory at this plant. We are now in discussions to complete further inspections next year and possibly the year after.


July

Subsea Vision contracted by IKM Subsea in Norway to assist in their project which included changing out mooring lines on a FPSO vessel. We worked closely with IKM Subsea personnel on their Merlin work class ROV system and also their newly acquired Tiger TMS ROV system. When time permitted we also complete technical training on the Tiger ROV system with IKM Subsea personnel


June

Subsea Vision contracted by Bluewater and Shell UK to carry out further surveys on the Haewene Brim FPSO in the North Sea. Some of the items surveyed during the project: Moorings, Mooring buoys, Thrash zone on the seabed, Sea Chests, Risers, Mid water arch and all connection points beneath the STP Buoy to the risers. HP water cleaning was required to clean away the mussel growth prior to be able to complete a full detailed visual inspection of the connection points.
The surface area of the risers were also cleaned with our cheese wire down to -45 meters

Subsea Vision contracted by Shell UK to complete subsea asset surveys on the Anasuria FPSO in the North Sea utilising our Tiger Free Swimming ROV system . We completed the following surveys: Risers, Mid Water Arches, Mooring lines and Riser bases
We also worked along side Welaptega to complete chain measurements on the mooring lines. This is the first time Welaptega's Calliper chain measuring device was used. The operation went very well and the readings gained from the surveys gave an accurate account of the  condition of the chain links.

Subsea Vision contracted by leading UK ROV manufacturer to assist in the integration and commissioning of a Jaguar ROV system on board a vessel in the Middle East for one of their clients. When the integration has been completed, Subsea Vision will complete practical training in flying the ROV and the usage of the tooling packages which are being supplied with the ROV system.

Subsea Vision contracted to completed various cable surveys of the south coast of the UK, utilising one of Falcon ROV system

Subsea Vision completes pipeline survey of the North West coast of Ireland for Osiris Projects in conjunction with their client Shell UK
The ROV was used to survey sections of rock dumped areas, exposed pipeline and the pipeline diffuser


March / April

Bluewater contracts Subsea Vision to complete moorings survey and hull survey on one of their FPSO vessel in the North Sea.
During the program, Shell UK also contracted Subsea Vision to complete detailed inspections of their subsea assets beneath the FPSO. The ROV used during this project was our free swimming Tiger ROV system which is fully zoned 2 compliant. The ROV was equipped with a high pressure water jetter which was able to clean soft and hard marine growth from specific areas to enable us to complete Detailed Visual Inspections of welds and shackles. It was also fitted with 3D Modelling cameras from Welapteg, the 3D images were used to build a model of various chain links.
The Sea chest on the FPSO were also cleaned free of mussels

Subsea Vision contracted by Subsea 7 to complete various technical training courses on their Seaeye Tiger ROV systems. The training was conducted on site in Aberdeen at Subsea 7 base


February

Further technical training completed on a Panther Plus ROV system for our client Saab Seaeye.

Subsea Vision supports one of our clients in Sicily with their Cougar deep rated ROV system in installing specific scientific equipment
